Account Executive: Middle East and Turkey

Nanometrics is seeking an enthusiastic Account Executive to cover the Middle East and Turkey territories. You will be responsible for managing and developing client relationships for all existing and new business opportunities within the assigned territory. In this role you will be expected to work through our representative network to understand clients’ business, identify areas of need, and promote product and service solutions. You will be expected to build the current base and develop new business within the region. This is a technical sales position in which you will be expected to attain a detailed understanding of the present applications of our products and services as well as indentifying opportunities for new tailoring our products to meet new use cases. 


Job Duties

  • Achieve assigned sales targets for the region.

  • Prospecting and developing new client relationships within the assigned territory.

  • Plan and undertake trips to enhance customer relationships and develop new business opportunities.

  • Provide technical presentations to professional and nonprofessional audiences

  • Develop and prepare technical proposals addressing the requirements of the clients in your territories.

  • Attend international trade shows and scientific meetings.

  • Prepare technical proposals and quotations in response to customer requests outside of sales territory on a case-by-case basis as agreed with sales and marketing.

  • Contribute actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements.

  • Participate in product pricing and design reviews.

  • Participate in tracking competitor’s sales, pricing and product strategies.

  • Maintain an adequate level of technical competency in geophysics, communications and computer sciences as they relate to Nanometrics' products and services.

  • Maintain accurate up-to-date records in the company CRM system.

  • Bachelor’s Degree is a minimum requirement preferably in the geophysical sciences.

  • Minimum of 5 years of previous sales experience in a technology environment with a track record in deal making.

  • Previous experience in sales to the Middle East /Turkey or similar international experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and negotiation skills.

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.

  • Ability to articulate complex technical information to clients.

  • Demonstrated presentation skills.

  • Self-motivated, strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.

  • Goal oriented, with a proven history of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
