Nanometrics Expands Sales Force

Nanometrics is pleased to announce that we have expanded our sales force to meet increased demand for our products and services in the United States, Middle East and Indian sub-continent. Nanometrics welcomes regional sales managers, Mr. Earl Johnson and Mr. Gene Traverse.

Earl Johnson joined Nanometrics in January 2008 and brings with him extensive technical engineering, project management and international business experience. He is a Chartered Engineer (C.Eng., UK) and holds a technology degree from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology, Manchester, England. Mr. Johnson has held several senior level management positions in international sales and business development and senior project management engineering positions with high profile Canadian companies. His substantial experience and collective knowledge make him a significant addition to the Nanometrics sales force. We welcome Earl Johnson toNanometrics as Sales Manager, Middle East and India.

More recently, Gene Traverse joined Nanometrics to manage our growing U.S. market. Gene began his electronics training in the Canadian Armed Forces with specialization in power and communication systems. His technical career includes applications engineering and installing and maintaining broadcast, microwave, and satellite communications systems. Mr. Traverse spent 12 years in the sales and marketing of commercial satellite communications and digital imaging technologies. His extensive experience in applications engineering and communications technology makes him a valuable addition to the Nanometrics sales team. We welcome Gene Traverse as Sales Manager, USA.
