Since joining Nanometrics in 1992, Neil has been instrumental in transforming Nanometrics from an instrumentation manufacturer to a seismology monitoring solutions and services provider. Neil has over 25 years of experience in seismology and has worked in the Middle East, UK and USA, for various geophysics organizations. Neil holds a B.Sc. in marine biology and oceanography from the Marine Science Labs, Menai Bridge, UK and a commercial pilot’s license and flight instructor rating.

Tim is responsible for the development of our instrumentation, network and software product lines. Tim started at Nanometrics in 1986. When he graduated from the University of Toronto with a bachelor of applied science (computer engineering) in 1990, he joined Nanometrics full time as a software engineer. From 1995 to 2003, Tim worked at AOL in California as a software engineer and later as a systems architect. Tim rejoined us in 2003, and has been Vice President of Research & Development since 2014.

Bio
Ian is responsible for finance, risk, human resources/facilities and commercial operations. Ian has a chartered accounting designation from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in the UK and international experience in corporate banking, trade finance, treasury, performance management, manufacturing and distribution and not-for-profit organizations. Ian has taught business and holds an honors degree in accounting from the University of South Africa and a bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration from the University of Natal, South Africa.

Bio
Bruce joined Nanometrics in 2003, first as Vice President of Engineering and now as our product management leader. Prior to this, Bruce held positions of increasing responsibility at Nortel Networks, most recently Director Research and Development in Nortel's Advanced Technology Investments group. Bruce is the inventor or co-inventor of several patents in the fields of both telecommunication and instrumentation. Bruce began his engineering career with Bell-Northern Research, Nortel's R&D subsidiary, in 1982 after receiving his bachelor degree in electrical engineering (with honours) from McGill University.

David leads our Calgary-based division, which focuses on providing turn-key seismic networks and services for induced seismicity monitoring and hydraulic fracture imaging. David has over 30 years of experience in the energy services industry, including 25 years with Baker Hughes. During his career, David has built and managed sales and business development teams and directed field operations. He holds a bachelor's degree in geology and an MBA as well as post-graduate qualifications in operations, project management, quality control and reliability design.
