Very broadband (often referred to as VBB) sensors are typically the instruments of choice for global seismology studies. These instruments are able to resolve the lowest frequencies resulting from Earth's tides and free oscillations of the Earth.

The Trillium 360 offers the widest available bandwidth of flat response, 360 seconds to 150 Hz, giving you full bandwidth coverage for global seismology and teleseismic monitoring with a single instrument. It also offers an extended low-frequency range useful to out beyond a 10,000-second time period and self noise below the NLNM from 300 s to 10 Hz.
